Vere Anderson

Vere Edgar Anderson of Woodinville died Feb. 22, 2009. He was 89.

He was born Sept. 30, 1919, in Pine Bluffs, Wyo. In February 1942, he was inducted in the U.S. Army, serving as a staff sergeant and was honorably discharged in September 1945 from Ft. Lewis after three years overseas duty.

Eva Asbury

Eva (Neuman) Asbury of Bothell and Woodinville died March 13, 2009. She was 96.

She was born Sept. 22, 1912, in Mayville, ND. For several years, she was the organist at First Lutheran Church in Bothell.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. March 28 at First Lutheran Church, 10207 N.E. 183rd St., Bothell. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be given to the Memorial Fund of First Lutheran Church, Bothell, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Josephine Cathey

Josephine P. Cathey died March 15, 2009, in Kenmore. She was 87.

She was born March 22, 1921, in Elkhart, Ind.
