Teen drivers learn from victims of intoxicated drivers

Victims of intoxicated drivers will share their experiences with teen drivers and their parents at 7 p.m. March 30 at the Northshore Performing Arts Center, 9130 N.E. 180th St., Bothell. Free and open to the public.

Sandra Rhone, mother of an Inglemoor High graduate who was killed by a drunken driver, will speak along with Josie Anderson, recent Bothell High graduate injured three years ago as a passenger in a car accident involving an impaired driver.

Washington State Troopers will provide information about the legal consequences of driving under the influence and will answer questions from parents and students.

The DUI victims-panel presentation aims to help teen drivers and their parents understand the consequences of driving while intoxicated. It has been offered several times each year over the past 20 years by the Northshore School District.
