One dead in Bothell house fire being investigated as arson

A residential fire that broke out around 10 p.m. on Thursday night in Bothell is being investigated as a possible arson.

A residential fire that broke out around 10 p.m. on Thursday night in Bothell took the life of a woman who lived there. The incident is being investigated as a possible arson.

The residential structure is located in the 11100 block of NE 145th St. in Bothell. Arson investigators from the Bothell Fire Department and Bothell Police Department detectives are investigating the scene.

Neighbors said they attempted to suppress the fire and keep it contained with garden hoses until the fire department personnel from Bothell, Northshore, Kirkland and Woodinville arrived.

The fire was put out rather quickly after fire fighters reached the scene, according to Suberlich.
