The Kenmore City Council voted April 7 to rescind a previous motion that authorized taxpayer-funded health insurance for its members. Coverage for councilmembers who enrolled in the program will end May 31.

The Northshore School District is accepting nominations for its 2008-2009 Teacher of the Year award. Nominations may be submitted by administrators, parents, students or co-workers.
