Larceny

A cash box complete with $1,500 in cash disappeared from the pro shop at the Inglewood Country Club. Police did not report any sign of forced entry.

Residential burglary/vandalism

Persons unknown entered an unoccupied home in the 7600 block of Northeast 165th Street via a kitchen window. They then used paint to vandalize the inside of the home. No damage estimate was available.

May 21

Property confiscated

Police said they were at Kenmore Elementary on this date for a community event. While they were there, they were asked to remove a knife brought to the school by a third-grade student and previously confiscated by school officials. Reports contained no further readily available details.

Car theft

A pickup was stolen in front of a business in the 8200 block of Northeast Bothell Way. Again, public reports contained no further readily available details.

Disturbance

Police said they broke up a fight near the new Kenmore City Hall on Northeast 181st Street. The incident started over an alleged drug deal gone bad. Reports said none of the parties involved wanted to cooperate with police, to admit they were the victims, so no charges were filed. Police did not report finding any drugs at the scene or make any mention of injuries.

Theft from vehicle

Someone smashed out the driver’s-side window of a car parked in a garage in the 18100 block of Campus Way Northeast. The thieves made off with an MP3 player and a satellite radio. Total value: $250.

Theft from vehicle

Someone removed the catalytic convertor from a car parked in a lot in the 19900 block of North Creek Parkway. Replacement costs were estimated at $1,600.

Commercial burglary

Copper piping valued at $300 is missing from a construction site in the 21200 block of 20th Avenue Southeast.

Residential burglary

Persons unknown broke out a small window in a kitchen door, then opened that door to gain entry into a home in the 20100 block of 112th Avenue Northeast. Stolen items include a computer, a digital camera, costume jewelry, tools and a briefcase. Total value was estimated at $1,150.

Residential burglary

Police say they believe someone forced open the front door of a home in the 16600 block of 122nd Avenue Northeast. A laptop computer, a digital camera and jewelry were reported missing. Total value: $1,050.

May 19

Theft from vehicle

Police say the victim’s car was unlocked and parked on the street allowing thieves to help themselves to $1,500 in items including a car amp, tools and cash. The incident took place in the 24200 block of Third Place West.
