Aug. 24

Theft

Police say a suspect left an unidentified local eatery without paying for $40 worth of food. The incident took place at a business in the 20000 block of State Route 527.

Aug. 23

Theft from vehicle

An MP3 player and wallet disappeared from a car parked in the 10000 block of 127th Avenue Northeast. Value of the missing items was given as $50. The unlocked car was parked in a residential driveway.

Residential burglary

According to police, would-be thieves tried unsuccessfully to pry open the front door of a home in the 20000 block of First Drive Southeast. Judging from reports, a resident may have been home and possibly frightened off the suspect.

Aug. 20

Assault

Police arrested a woman, 19, for the alleged assault of a man, 33, at their residence. No injuries were reported. The suspect was charged with fourth degree assault, domestic violence.

Aug. 19

Car theft

Someone attempted to drive away with a 2008 Chevrolet Suburban parked in a residential driveway in the 10000 block of 99th Avenue Northeast. Police say the driver’s side door lock of the vehicle was punched out, but don’t say why the thief was unable to steal the car.

Vandalism

Someone spray painted the phrase “Son of Sin” above the sinks in the men’s rest room at Log Boom Park.

Aug. 24

Drug offense

A driver stopped for having no plates ended up also facing drug-related charges as police allegedly found small amounts of cocaine and marijuana in the suspect’s car. The incident took place on Northeast Bothell Way.

Recovered cash

Reports contained few readily available details, but someone turned in to a manager $500 cash they found in the Safeway supermarket on Northeast Bothell Way. Reports did not say if the money belonged to the store or a customer.

Vandalism

Someone smashed out the driver’s side rear window of a vehicle parked in the lot of an apartment complex on 80th Court Northeast.

Aug. 16

Car theft

A Toyota Camry disappeared from the lot of the Green Leaf apartment complex on Juanita Drive. Reports did not readily give the value of the car, which had not been recovered as of last week.
