Registration is open now for the Sally Ride Science Festival, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to be held Oct. 4 on the UW Bothell campus.

Sally Ride festivals encourage middle-school girls to investigate careers in the STEM fields. Register now for a day of fun STEM activities, workshops and exhibits.

More than 500 students, parents and teachers are expected to attend. Tickets are $20 and available for individuals or for groups and classes.

This festival – sponsored by partners such as UW Bothell, Boeing, Google and many other business and community leaders — puts STEM projects directly into the hands of middle school kids, and are an ideal way for educators and parents to ignite student interest in STEM fields and careers.
