The Snohomish County Department of Public Works has extended the lane closures along York Road and 35th Avenue SE through June 19.

JR Hayes has been granted permission to continue closing down one lane of traffic between 8:45 a.m. and 2:45 p.m., with additional work allowed between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. for pavement patching, along the 20200 block of York Road.

The work will help complete the final pavement restoration for the North Creek Glen project.

While emergency vehicles and school district transportation will have access at all times, other commuters may experience delays.
