The Center for Bird and Exotic Animal Medicine located in Bothell will be at the Seattle Pet Expo on June 20, giving on-stage presentations and hosting “meet-and-greets” with several species of exotic animals. The event will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. held at the Washington State Convention Center. Admission is free, and pets are welcome with proof of current vaccine records.

The team from The Center for Bird and Exotic Animal Medicine will be hosting an interactive and informative booth at the event. There will be games, prizes, and a raffle benefiting The Center for Bird and Exotic Animal Medicine’s Compassionate Care Fund. Every hour between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., trained staff will be showcasing a different exotic animal for attendees.

As an exclusive bird and exotic animal veterinary hospital, the veterinarians and staff at The Center for Bird and Exotic Animal Medicine are extremely knowledgeable in educating and advising those who are interested in non-traditional pets. Two of their expert veterinarians, Dr. Anneliese Strunk, DVM, Dipl. ABVP (Avian) and Dr. Alicia McLaughlin, DVM, will be conducting on-stage presentations focusing on why exotic animals need veterinary care and ways to ensure a safe and stress-free veterinary visit.
