Southbound I-405 to have weekend long exit closures through Bothell

Users of Southbound Interstate 405 may experience traffic backups as the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is shutting down exit 22 to Northeast 160th Street for paving.

Users of Southbound Interstate 405 may experience traffic backups as the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is shutting down exit 22 to Northeast 160th Street for paving.

Exit 22 will be closed to all vehicles between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. on April 10-13.

While it is expected that work will be completed on April 13, WSDOT warns that weather may postpone the work until another weekend.

WSDOT also warns neighbors living near exit 22 may experience noise and vibrations, odors from paving, and detours around the 160th Street on and off ramps.

While WSDOT is shutting down one exit, it has already planned detour routes for the exit on Northeast 124th Street or the SR 522 exit.
