Waipuna to play at final Kenmore Summer Concert Series of the year

Waipuna, which translates to ‘spring water’ is a Hawaiian music group that formed in 2008.

The 20th year of the Kenmore Summer Concert series is coming to an end, and for the final performance of the summer on July 28, Waipuna–with Halau Hula Pulamahiaikalikolehua– will take the stage.

Waipuna, which translates to ‘spring water,’ is a Hawaiian music group that has been playing since 2008, and the group includes Kale Hannahs, Matt Sproat and David Kamakahi.

The free event will take place on the South Lawn at Saint Edward State Park, located at 14445 Juanita Drive Northeast, from 6-8 p.m. A wine and beer garden will be onsite to serve Stoup Beer, among others.

Food vendors for the event include Jessica’s Unique Bites, The Vet Chef, Yummy Box and Street Treats. Parking will be free, and it is recommended that those interested in attending the event bring chairs or blankets for seating.
