Walk with the mayor to celebrate fifth anniversary of Let’s Move Initiative

Join Kenmore Mayor David Baker at 10 a.m. on Feb. 7 for a walk to honor the fifth anniversary of First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move Initiative. Baker and Councilmember Stacey Denuski will lead the leisurely walk from City Hall to Log Boom Park and then back to City Hall.

February marks the fifth anniversary of Let’s Move, which was launched in 2010 with the goal of ensuring that all kids can grow up healthy and have the opportunity to pursue their dreams. Kenmore has been involved since the launch of the program. Kenmore is one of a handful of cities across the country that has gold medal status in all five of the Let’s Move goals.

The Kenmore City Hall is located at 18120 68th Ave NE in Kenmore.
