The Bothell High School volleyball team lost to Skyline, 3-2, on Tuesday during the 4A KingCo volleyball tournament.

The Bothell High School volleyball team lost to Skyline, 3-2, on Tuesday during the 4A KingCo volleyball tournament.

Bothell began the match with a 25-3 victory but lost games two and three, 25-18 and 25-22. The Cougars bounced back to take game four, 25-17, before losing the tiebreaker, 15-11.

The Cougars were led by Hailey Crane with 21 kills and Alexa Torres with 19 kills. Maddie Rayburn led the squad with 25 assists and Rianne Saleem finished with 36 digs.

The loss brings Bothell’s season to a close. The team finished with a 6-2 in-league record and an 11-6 overall record.
