Cedar Park Christian junior Grant Zapara shot a 76 at the Eagle Pride Golf Course in Tacoma and defeated more than 70 golfers to capture the 1A Tri-District golf championship May 18. He shot a 4-over for the round, 43 on the front nine and a 33 on the back.
He advances to the state tournament in Tri-Cities May 25-26. He is the first ever Cedar Park Tri-District champion.
