Bothell defeated Inglemoor, 8-3, in fastpitch action last night at the 4A Kingco Tournament and will take on Newport at 5 p.m. tonight at Hartman Park in Redmond.
Cedar Park Christian's boys soccer team (11-5-3) will play Ridgefield at 6 p.m. tonight in the 1A state tournament at Chinook Stadium in Kalama. If they win, the Eagles will next play on May 19 against a team to be determined.
Cedar Park's baseball team (14-8) will take on Kalama at 1 p.m. May 19 in the 1A state tournament at Volunteer Field in Anacortes.
On the girls' side, Cedar Park's fastpitch team was 16-1 in 1A Emerald City League action at press time.
Inglemoor's baseball season ended with a 14-2 loss to Ballard on Thursday in the 4A Kingco tournament at Woodinville High.
The Viks finished 16-8 overall.
Inglemoor's Michael Mendenhall won the 1,600-meter run and Bothell's Morgunn Ewing and Allie Hadley each took javelin titles at yesterday's 4A Kingco championships at Juanita High.
Mehron Abdi scored in the 14th minute to give Inglemoor the lead, but Issaquah tallied in the 60 and 73 minutes to win, 2-1, in last night's 4A Kingco Tournament match.

Bentley University received a pair of seventh-place finishes Friday during the opening day of the Northeast-10 Conference Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Southern Connecticut State University.
Sophomore Ashley Nichols of Inglemoor High ran the 10,000 meters for the first time as a collegian, and finished in 40:36.05. In addition to seventh in the meet, that was good for fifth on Bentley’s all-time list.
Christan Nesslequist nailed the game-winning shot as Inglemoor defeated Newport on Saturday in a penalty-kick shootout in the opening round of the 4A Kingco Tournament. The game was 1-1 entering PKs, and the Vikings won, 9-8, in the shootout.
