Inglemoor boys’ golf finishes eighth at state tournament

The Inglemoor High boys' golf team finished eighth at the Class 4A golf championships on May 25 at Meadow Springs Country Club in Richland.

The Inglemoor High boys’ golf team finished eighth at the Class 4A golf championships on May 25 at Meadow Springs Country Club in Richland.

Inglemoor’s Mason Phalen shot a 72 and 78 to tie for ninth overall with three other golfers. Carton Tillotson shot a 76 and a 79 to finish in a tie for 22nd.

Richland High’s Carl Underwood won the individual title in a playoff over three other golfers: Joe Highsmith of Bellarmine Prep, Sean Kato of Redmond High and RJ Manke of Bellarmine Prep.

Bellarmine Prep won the team trophy with 122 points, edging Eastlake with 90.
