The Redmond High School softball team used a one-out rally in the bottom of the sixth inning to open up a close game and edge Bothell 5-1 during a KingCo 4A-league game on Wednesday at Hartman Field in Redmond.

Redmond’s Mara Kiphis had three RBIs, including a two-run homer in the bottom of the sixth.

Bothell player Leah Sailer had the lone scoring hit for the Cougars, a sacrifice fly to score Kennadi Wuebel in the fourth inning.

Next, the Cougars are scheduled to take on Inglemoor at 4 p.m. on Monday, April 4, at Bothell High School.
