Gold’s celebrates huge weight loss

Last month, 68 individuals from Bothell, Redmond and Issaquah lost a combined weight of 1,430 pounds as part of the Gold’s Gym Challenge.

On a local level, prizes were given to first, second and third place, as well as top overall male and female. This year, the Bothell, Redmond and Issaquah teams had two age category winners. Overall winners were:

• 19-29 age group

Male — Sergey Andriyashchenko

• 40-49 age group

Female — Sandra Fletcher
