Cross country / Inglemoor, Bothell boys qualify for bi-districts

Bothell High’s Kevin Holmes and Alan Villavicencio ran to third (tie) and seventh places, respectively, and Inglemoor High’s Colin O’Neil took eighth in Thursday’s 4A Kingco cross-country championships to lead their teams to the bi-district meet Oct. 31 in Kelso.

Holmes ran the 3.1-mile Lake Sammamish Park course in 16 minutes, Villavicencio clocked in at 16 minutes, seven seconds and O’Neil finished in 16 minutes, eight seconds.

Inglemoor took fourth place while Bothell took seventh.

On the girls’ side, Inglemoor’s Ashley Nichols finished eighth in 19:31.
