Lystad set for Nike Cross Nationals Saturday in Portland

Inglemoor High’s 4A state cross-country champion Tansey Lystad will be competing in the Nike Cross Nationals on Saturday in Portland.

According to the Lystad family, “She flew down to Portland today and will have amazing opportunities in the next few days with elite Nike athletes, as well as the best of her peers from across the country. She just called and sounds like a little girl on Christmas morning. Over the top with emotion and excitement.”

Nike will begin broadcasting at 10:05 a.m. online Saturday and Lystad’s race starts at 10:25 a.m.
