Inglemoor, Cedar Park girls stayin’ alive | Prep basketball update

The Inglemoor High girls kept their postseason hopes alive with a 51-47 win over Garfield on Saturday night at Juanita High. The Vikings play tomorrow night in another loser-out game, against Issaquah, at 4:45 p.m. at Juanita High School.
The Cedar Park Christian boys’ team lost a heartbreaker, 49-48 to Chimacum, ending their season on Saturday on their home floor.
Senior Russell Bettinger scored a season-high 12 in his final Eagles’ game, with junior win Evan Scholten also adding 12.
The Eagles finished with a record of 13-8 overall after a fine 9-3 1A Emerald City League season.
The Cedar Park girls’ team fell to Bellevue Christian last Thursday, 45-34, in the league championship game, and will get their Tri-District tournament underway at home on Tuesday night against Lynden Christian, at 7 p.m. The Lyncs routed Seattle Academy, 73-14, in their opening-round game.
