Bothell shuts out Newport 1-0 | Prep girls soccer

The Cougar girls soccer team earned its third in-league victory of the season Thursday night, 1-0, at home against a struggling Newport team.

Bothell earned its only goal of the night during the 52nd minute, as Breanna Nguyen took a pass from Samantha Scuderi and put into the back of the Knights’ net.

The win pushes the Cougars’ record to 3-6-0 in league play and 6-8-0 overall.
