Cougars score 13 against Cascade for win | Prep baseball

The Bothell High School baseball team followed up their 15-run performance on Monday with a 13 runs on Tuesday, defeating Cascade 13-2 in six innings.

The Cougars started slow, falling behind 2-1 after two innings but then broke out with five third-inning runs and never looked back.

The team scored five again during the fifth inning and added two more in the sixth to finish the game early thanks to the mercy rule.

Bothell was led by Jake Cooper, who hit a home run and had a double, collecting two RBI. Daniel Fredrickson scored four runs during the game, while Saige Tyndall earned his first win of the season.
