Bothell sweeps singles to beat Juanita | Prep girls tennis

The Bothell High School girls tennis team defeated Juanita 4-2 behind strong singles play on Monday.

The Cougars’ Colleen Byrne beat Tess Pate, 6-0, 6-0 at No. singles while Erica Takano of Bothell defeated Aliizeh Karmali 6-2, 6-4. Bothell’s Rachelle Wharf beat Seo Huh in straight sets 6-0, 6-2, while teammate Naime Herzog defeated Rachel Russell J, 6-2, 6-3.

Bothell lost both doubles matches contested.
