The Inglemoor girls softball team blasted the pitching of Mount Si Friday for a 17-3 victory at home.
The Vikings scored nine runs during the first two innings but their bats went silent until the sixth. During the meantime, the Wildcats waged a comeback, cutting the lead to just six runs.
Inglemoor finally got back on the board in a big way during the bottom of the sixth inning, scoring eight runs and ending the game early due to the mercy rule.
Vikings Lauren Brown, Bella Montoya and Izzy Riddle each knocked in three runs and Riddle finished with four hits. Allison Harrington earned the victory from the pitching circle, giving up 10 hits and three runs, while throwing a complete game.
