Three errors cost Bothell against Newport | Prep baseball

The Bothell High School baseball team committed three errors Monday against Newport and it was just enough to give the Knights a 3-2 victory.

Bothell fell behind early, giving up a run during the second inning and then two more during the fifth. But one of those runs was unearned and it would cost the Cougars a shot at the victory.

Camden McLoud gave Bothell their only runs of the game with a two-run home run during the top of the sixth. But it wasn’t enough to overcome the three-run deficit.
