Teenage skateboarder injured in Bothell hit-and-run

A skateboarder suffered minor injuries after he was struck by a truck around 7:15 a.m. yesterday in the 4700 block of 244th Street Southeast.
According to the Bothell Police Blog, the 18-year-old man was skating to Woodinville High School when a dark colored pickup truck hit him.
The driver is described as a white male between 40 to 50 years of age wearing a blue shirt with two reflective stripes on it similar to a construction style safety shirt.

A hit and run which results in an injury is a class-C felony, punishable by up to five years in prison.
