Bothell team wins Sandy Koufax state tournament

The Bothell Prep Sportswear Baseball Club (14U) recently won the Sandy Koufax State title, defeating Laces Baseball Academy of Everett, 8-0, in the championship game at Island Crest Park on Mercer Island.

During the state tournament, the team’s record was 4-1, which included wins in their last three games.

Advancing to Regionals, Bothell lost two of its first three games, including falling to Kent in a nine-inning marathon, to get eliminated from that event.
