Viking grad Martin scores first college goal of season

Inglemoor High graduate Matt Martin (Class of ’09) scored his first goal of his junior soccer season for Middlebury College in Vermont in a 5-0 playoff win over Plymouth State last Wednesday.

Martin’s goal came off teammate Alvand Hajizadeh’s assist in the 37th minute.

The team improved to 7-3-3 and plays tomorrow in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) quarterfinals.
