Congresswoman Suzan DelBene (WA-01) attended a tax clinic at the Bothell Library on Friday for low- to moderate-income seniors ahead of the April 18 tax filing deadline.

The AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program provides free assistance with tax return preparation and e-filing to taxpayers who need it most. IRS trained volunteers assist low and moderate income taxpayers of all ages, with special attention to those age 50 and older. Last year, the program helped more than 80,000 Washingtonians.

DelBene spoke with seniors about issues facing them and helped ensure they receive every deduction and tax credit earned.
