Bothell loses heartbreaker in Seattle | Prep girls basketball

The Bothell High School girls basketball team lost 38-37 Wednesday at Roosevelt High School in Seattle.

The Cougars and Roughriders played the entire game close with leads never exceeding more than two baskets.

The game was tied 19-19 at the half. Roosevelt then went ahead during the third quarter and held on for the victory.

Bothell was led by Emily Burns with 8 points and Randi Dixon with 7 points.

The loss drops the Cougars to 3-12 on the season.
