Cedar Park defeats team from Texas during Surf N’ Slam tournament | Prep girls basketball

The Cedar Park Christian girls basketball team defeated Episcopal from Texas Saturday, 53-48, during the Surf N’ Slam tournament in San Diego, Calif.

The Eagles dominated the second quarter, 21-3, and held off a fourth-quarter charge by Episcopal to advance in the tournament.

Cedar Park’s Laura Goodnight led all scorers with 25 points during the game.
