The Inglemoor High School boys soccer team shocked Skyline Tuesday night 4-0 to win the 4A KingCo tournament title.
The Spartans were the first team in nearly a decade to finish the regular season undefeated.
The VIkings scored all of their goals during the first half to stun Skyline. The team played stiff defense during the second half, as James Takami earned the shutout.
Inglemoor got on the board early, as Mehron Abdi took a pass from teammate Christian Nesselquist and put into the back of the Spartan’s net just five minutes into the game.
Abdi scored an unassisted goal during the ninth minute of play to extend the lead.
Abdi returned the favor during the 28th minute, feeding Nesselquist a pass for the Vikings third goal of the game.
Oliver Fahling capped the Inglemoor scoring with a goal just before half time.
Thanks to the win the Vikings will host a first round state tournament game next week.
