Election signage wars continued | Letter

Although offering no tangible evidence to support her absurd claim, Marilynne Scott, a teacher in Northshore School District, has falsely accused Dawn McCravey of running her campaign for Senate in an illegal manner. Ms. Scott has accused Dawn and her “people” of tampering with the campaign signage of the incumbent in the 1st District Senate race. Yet, Ms. Scott herself admits to having tampered with Dawn McCravey’s campaign sign; one of the many McCravey signs that have vanished during this election season.

Dawn McCravey has been very outspoken in her disapproval of such childish and illegal practices as stealing or vandalizing campaign signage. She absolutely does NOT condone such activity. I believe Ms. Scott owes Dawn McCravey and her “people” an apology.
