Read the Constitution

I am disappointed that people have complained about reading the Constitution one time during a congressional session.

That is what Congress has sworn to uphold, and I would be very surprised if many of them have read it since high school.

Yes, it was a symbolic reading, and you can argue as to which version should have been read, but it has been ignored the past two years. It is time we start paying attention to it, since it is the law of the land and needs to be followed, or we have no basis for our form of government.

That is a constitutional issue, not a partisan issue. I have a copy of the Constitution and amendments, along with the Declaration of Independence, and I am reading it.
