Sponsorships are available to support local education/ Letter

With community and sponsor participation, the annual Light a Fire for Learning Luncheon presented by the Northshore Schools Foundation will raise more than $100,000 this year. The foundation is seeking local and corporate sponsorships to join with Banner Bank and contribute financially to the success of this event, which will be held April 26 at the Lynnwood Convention Center.
By gathering the support of local businesses, the event will benefit and impact the education of all students in the Northshore School District.
Sponsorship opportunities include: Supporting ($250) Associate ($500), Table ($1,000), Major ($2,500), Premier ($5,000) and Title ($10,000).
Benefits are commensurate with the level of sponsorship. Major sponsors of this event to date include local Elevation Cellars, Cornerstone General Contractors and Fred Meyer, with local and regional sponsorships coming from Boeing Employees Credit Union — Canyon Park Branch, Snapdoodle Toys, Northshore Kiwanis, Banner Bank — Bothell Branch, Puget Sound Energy, Brent Planning Solutions, Dykeman Architects and DeMarle at Home.
Recently announced keynote speaker, Jim Dever, reporter for King 5 Evening Magazine, will captivate and inspire 500 luncheon guests at this celebration of education with his topic “Lesson Plans for Life.”
Proceeds raised through the event will fund district-wide programs in the areas of advanced and disadvantaged Learners; literacy enhancement; STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) curriculum support; teacher excellence; and music, art, health and fitness enhancement.
