The traffic on 35th Avenue Southeast between Southeast 228th and Southeast 240th has dramatically increased due to the closure/repair of the Southeast 240th Street bridge. Those of us who live on the west side of 35th Avenue Southeast have to cross the street to get to our mailboxes. When you see us standing on the side of the road, please stop for just the few seconds it takes us to cross the street. We’re all in a hurry to reach our destinations or to get home. Stopping for that short amount of time would be so much appreciated.
