Thanks to Kenmore Mayor for helping with rude bicyclists, other issues | Letter

I wish to express my gratitude and appreciation to Kenmore Mayor David Baker for helping me solve our problem in regards to the parking of neighboring cars in front of our mailbox.

I wish to express my gratitude and appreciation to Kenmore Mayor David Baker for helping me solve our problem in regards to the parking of neighboring cars in front of our mailbox.

I also wanted to thank him for his tip to avoid the “rude and inconsiderate bicyclists” when walking along the trail. It did help us but we are still having problems with the bicyclists who still think they own the road/trail.

I think there should be a law against these people because they don’t follow the rules and get away with it. For example, these bicyclists cross the street or turn with green traffic lights. If cars ever hit the bicyclists, then it is the other party’s fault, not the bicyclists. No offense meant to some, but in general the bicyclists are all rude and very inconsiderate.

Just two days ago, I was almost hit by bicyclists. I was already almost at the edge of the trail, but they still passed by me speeding and too close without saying anything. I hope something is done to avoid accidents and so something really bad does not happen.

Again, my appreciation and gratefulness to the Mayor of Kenmore.

Felicidad Co-Groves, Kenmore
