Kenmore Sheriff’s Blotter: Lots of rocks through windshields

The blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical roundup of all calls to the King County Sheriff’s Office that are dispatched to on-duty police officers. The King County Sheriff’s Office blotter is not intended to be representative of all police calls originating in Kenmore.
Between June 26 and July 5, three thefts (including identity theft and fraud) occurred along with two DUIs, three cases of vandalism, two cases of trespassing and a controlled substance violation.
June 26
A home owner turned in a burned homemade explosive device that was placed in their mailbox but didn’t blow up, only burned.
June 27
Marijuana was found in a vehicle where all the occupants were under 21 years of age.
June 28
A homeless man was trespassed from the Cozy Inn Tavern.
June 29
A kayak was stolen from 7301 Northeast 175th Street.
A driver was arrested on a Redmond warrant.
A vehicle had it’s driver side door key-hole punched in in the 6700 block of northeast 185th Street.
Someone stole a bottle of champagne from Uplake Grocery.
June 30
Rocks were thrown through the windows of several vehicles at the Kenmore Park and Ride.
July 1
A bike was stolen from a boat at Harbor Village Marina.
Two people were sent to Evergreen Hospital for alcohol detox.
A car was vandalized at the Kenmore Park and Ride.
July 2
Two people caused a disturbance at Jiffy Lube and were trespassed.
July 3
A man was given an intoxicated driving charge after a single-vehicle collision.
July 4
A stolen vehicle was recovered at the Emerald Villa Apartments.
