Thomas Kenyon Straight died peacefully at home surrounded by family on August 20th, 2023, in Woodinville, WA at the age of 75. He joyfully entered heaven where he was met by friends, family, and of course his dog Rudy.
Thom was born on June 26, 1948, in Seattle, WA to Astrid (Connie) and Z. Kenyon Straight. He graduated from Bothell High School in 1966. He joined the US Army after High School and served 3 years in Germany. After leaving the Army, Thom started a career of Sales positions in many different industries where he loved conversing with and helping all kinds of people.
Thom was beloved by his family and longtime friends – some as far back as grade school. He was known as a person who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Thom was passionate about boating and being on the water. He was also a fan of all kinds of sports cars.
Thom is survived by his son Paul Langdon of Portland, OR, his sister Ann Lamb, of Snohomish, WA, his niece Tami Wetherbee of Spokane Valley, WA, his niece Beth (BA) Bishop of Pasco, WA, and niece Vicki Wilson-Chavez of Melissa, TX. He is preceded in death by his father Kenyon (1991), mother Connie (2004), and sister Melanie Wilson (2007).
There will be no service, per Thom’s request. His family will scatter his ashes on the water as the tide takes him out to sea.
