The Bothell High girls’ soccer team’s offensive struggles continued into KingCo play on Monday, Sept. 12, with a 3-0 loss to Issaquah at Pop Keeney Stadium.

The Cougars (0-1 KingCo, 0-4) have yet to score a goal this fall, though coach Shaun Warner said Bothell came close to tying the game against the defending state champions midway through the first half.

Ultimately, Issaquah (1-0 KingCo, 3-0) led 2-0 at the break and went on to score a third in the second half.

Next, the Cougars are scheduled to play at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15 at Mount Si High School.
