Junior quarterback Jacob Sirmon threw for 311 yards and three touchdowns as the Bothell High football team beat Mount Si, 31-21, for its first conference win on Friday, Sept. 16, in Snoqualmie.
Sirmon completed 20 of 32 passes for the Cougars (1-0 KingCo, 3-0), hitting Jacob Stansberry and Tuli Tavega on touchdown passes in the first half. Sirmon found Da’Vicious Wilson early in the fourth quarter for his third touchdown pass of the evening.
Sirmon has now thrown seven touchdown passes without a pick, totalling 948 passing yards in the first three games.
Wilson, a speedy and elusive junior, led the receiving corps with seven receptions for 87 yards on Friday — a season high.
Senior Alex Indelicato rushed 22 times for 131 yards. Fellow running back Parker Chamberlin rushed seven times for 24 yards and a first-quarter touchdown.
Next, Bothell is scheduled to play Woodinville at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23 at Pop Keeney Stadium. The Falcons are 3-0 after beating Newport, 41-7, on Sept. 16.
