With the postseason looming for the 4A Kingco track teams, the Inglemoor Viking and Bothell Cougar teams are gearing up to send as many athletes as possible to the 4A state meet, Star Track, at Mount Tahoma High School on May 27 and 28.
Personal bests and school records are falling by the wayside in what looks to be a high-octane finish to the 2011 track season.
The Cougs and Viks last participated in the Northshore District Meet, which takes place Thursday night at Inglemoor High School starting at 4 p.m.
The 4A Kingco league meet is coming up next week at Juanita High School on May 11 and 13, with top finishers advancing on to the 4A regional meet.
