Cedar Park Christian names Parmenter its new football coach

Following a three-month search, including more than 20 candidates, Cedar Park Christian has announced that Todd Parmenter has been selected as the new varsity football coach.

The 1985 Bothell High graduate played football for coach Frosty Westering at Pacific Lutheran University for three years and was a member of the 1987 Division II national championship team that was inducted into the PLU Hall of Fame in 2009.

Parmenter has coached football in the area for several years, including the last two years at Cedar Park. Coach Parmenter is determined to build into the lives of the young men playing football at Cedar Park, to build a winning tradition at Cedar Park and to build an on-campus stadium, according to a press release.

The Eagles finished 6-4 overall last season.

He is the president of Parmenter Homes, Inc., an award-winning Street of Dreams home-building and design company. He and his family, wife K.K., daughters Isabella and Madison and sons Nolan and Rowan, are members of Canyon Hills Community Church.
