I am supporting Ken Smith for NSD [Northshore School District] school board because he is smart, honest, listens and wants our district to succeed.

Ken believes that our great district can be even better if we work together. Ken has two children in our district and a vested interest in our community.

I have seen Ken working to increase transparency in our district as a parent and know that he will continue to do that as a board member. Ken will value his stakeholders opinions and make informed decisions that will make our district the best it can be.

Ken offers a wealth of knowledge with his accounting background. We have many obstacles facing our district right now: overcrowding, grade reconfiguration, moving to later start times and the possibility of challenge courses being removed from the junior high school. I trust that Ken will listen to his constituents, be open and honest and bring our district to the next level.
