Vote for Davina Duerr | Letter

I’m voting for Davina Duerr for Bothell City Council. When I compare the candidates side-by-side, it’s very clear she is the right choice at this point in time for Bothell. We need a demonstrated leader.

I’m voting for Davina Duerr for Bothell City Council. When I compare the candidates side-by-side, it’s very clear she is the right choice at this point in time for Bothell. We need a demonstrated leader.

Davina has already proven her commitment and involvement in the community, both with her years of service and leadership on the Bothell Landmark Preservation Board as well as on the board of the Northshore Schools Foundation. Her hard work and dedication has already greatly contributed to making our city a wonderful place to live.

Davina’s education and work experience as an architect is an added bonus. We’ll have a voice on council that is knowledgeable in urban planning and development. That will absolutely be a benefit in the downtown revitalization effort.

My hat is off to anyone who decides to serve his or her community as a councilmember. It’s an important role and I am thrilled that someone of Davina’s caliber is willing to take on this challenge.

I support Davina because she’s shown she can hit the ground running. That is exactly what we need at this moment in our city. Please join me in voting for Davina Duerr this November.

David Bain, Bothell
