The following is a release from the Bothell Police Department.

Each year the Bothell Police Department recognizes one its civilian employees with the “Employee of the Year” award.  This year the award was presented to Rachel Ormiston.

Rachel is an exceptional employee and a key team member within the Risk Management Division. Rachel’s duties and responsibilities are broad, varied, require great attention to detail and are often times sensitive in nature.

This year has been incredibly busy within the Risk Management Unit and because of Rachel’s hard work and dedication to our agency’s core values we have accomplished many key projects.

On many occasions Rachel has sacrificed her personal time by taking work home or staying late to ensure projects were completed.

I know that Bothell Police Department is blessed to have so many good employees who are so dedicated, but I can’t think of a single employee who is more deserving of the 2014 Employee of the Year than Administrative Assistant Rachel Ormiston.

It is truly an honor to work with her.
