Community support helps build playground structure/Letter

In the early morning on March 19, the families of Canyon Creek Elementary came together and installed our new playground structure. The structure was purchased with funds raised from our annual walk-a-thon. On April 19, we came together again, and dedicated our revised play space to the past, present and future students of Canyon Creek. We hope by being a part of such a great event that they will remember that they can make a difference by believing in themselves and setting their goals high. It is important also, to remember to play. Now we have a place for not only the younger grades in our school to play, but for our fifth- and sixth-graders to climb on, too. Our new structure will be a great gift for years to come.

We are extremely fortunate to have so much community support, and thank everyone who contributed their time, money and muscle to make our playground a better place to be!
