There are good people out there

The weekend of Sept. 17-19, I held a moving/downsizing sale. The past two years have been very traumatic for me, and with the stress of organizing the sale and the pending move, I didn’t think to check my signage on Saturday after the big rainstorm Friday night. Around noon, a bargain hunter mentioned that my signs were a little difficult to read. When I visited my signs, I found a Samaritan had repaired and repositioned my signage at 61st Place Northeast and Northeast 190th Street.

Throughout the rest of the weekend, I relayed this story numerous times with many reactions the same as mine — there really are great people out there willing to give a hand for little or no recognition.

Thank you so much to this unsung hero!
