Cascadia Environmental Science Center to present Earth Festival April 30

The Cascadia Environmental Science Center will present its Earth Festival 2011 — “Nature, Native People and the Fabric of Life” — from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 30 at Bastyr University, next to St. Edward State Park.

The event will feature native flutist Peter Ali and violinist Swil Kanim along with speakers Dr. Frances Solomon (Protecting Water Quality and Aquatic Resources of Puget Sound), W. Douglas Smith (Climate Change) and Craig Young (Low-Impact Development and Traditional Knowledge of Native Peoples).
